His musical journey began in the early 1990s after a transformative experience with electronic music while working as a radio presenter in Naples, Florida. This led him to immerse himself in DJing and production, eventually relocating to Miami to further his career. By the mid-1990s, Sanger was performing at prominent South Florida venues such as The Edge, Groove Jet, and Warsaw, and contributing to the launch of E-sa Records’ successful OX imprint.
In 1997, Sanger collaborated with vocalist Nicole Henry to create a live PA act that combined his guitar, keyboards, and percussion with her soulful vocals. Their performances elevated the standard for live electronic music in the American rave scene, culminating in a headline spot on the 1999 ESDJCO North American tour.
Sanger\’s production prowess garnered attention from major labels, leading to releases on Armada Music, Spinnin’ Records, and Perfecto. He has remixed and collaborated with artists such as BT, Markus Schulz, and Nadia Ali, and even co-produced Schulz’s hit “Perfect” in 2008.
In 2007, Sanger founded Dissident Music, a label dedicated to progressive and melodic electronic music. Under his leadership, Dissident Music has released numerous tracks that have charted on Beatport and received support from top DJs worldwide.
Beyond his production and label work, Sanger has toured extensively, performing across four continents and sharing stages with industry giants like Tiësto during the early 2000s.
