The group comprises Jona, Fred, Emiel, Cas, and Maurice, each bringing a unique perspective to their collective sound.
Formation and Musical Approach
Initially rooted in leftfield house and techno, the five friends rekindled their mutual passion for early trance music in their hometown of Nijmegen. Their performances are characterized by all-white outfits, the \’SHOW YOUR EMOTIONS\’ tagline, emphatic all-caps captions, and a neon green dolphin mascot. Despite this playful aesthetic, their DJ sets are profound, seamlessly blending iconic classics and hidden gems from the golden era with a contemporary twist.

In 2023, SUPERSTRINGS embarked on their trance odyssey, performing at notable festivals and venues such as Intercell, Zeezout, Paradiso, TivoliVredenburg, OHM, By The Creek, and A State of Trance. Their rise in the trance world was further cemented by collaborating with one of the genre’s pioneers, Ferry Corsten. Together, they released the track \’Remember,\’ a heartfelt homage to classic trance, which was featured on Corsten’s album ‘Connect.’
