Above & Beyond are returning to Dreamstate SoCal 2026 with an exclusive Anjunabeats Classics set, and it is the kind of announcement Anjuna fans have been quietly waiting years for. The trio will take the crowd on a full journey through the label’s archives on Saturday, 21st November, at the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach, California.
The set is built around the records that shaped the Anjunabeats sound, so it should feel less like a standard festival run and more like a trip through the history of a label that has been a pillar of melodic trance. For longtime listeners, a night of classics is a rare chance to hear the older material on a big system, while newer fans get a lesson in where the sound came from.
Above & Beyond join a stacked Saturday that organizers describe as the classic trance day. Paul van Dyk is debuting his new live concept, The Essence of Acid, and Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Solarstone and Vini Vici are all on the bill. Few days on the 2026 trance calendar pack in this many genre landmarks.
Dreamstate SoCal is the flagship US trance festival, and this year’s edition is the eleventh. It runs across Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November, with the harder and more techno-leaning programme on Friday. The lineup includes three Dreamstate debuts: Ukrainian duo ARTBAT, Italian producer Enrico Sangiuliano and Belgian producer Pegassi. Doors open at 4 PM on both days, with official afterparties running from midnight until 6 AM.
With the festival now less than two weeks away, fans planning to attend should check Insomniac’s official site for remaining ticket options.
