Tiësto is making his Dreamstate Vancouver debut on Saturday, 28th November 2026, and the appearance is billed specifically as a trance set. For a DJ who helped define the genre’s golden era, the booking is one of the most talked-about moves on the trance calendar this season.
Putting Tiësto at the top of a trance lineup means something different in 2026 than it would have twenty years ago. His sound has moved through many styles since then, so a dedicated trance set carries real nostalgia and curiosity. Dreamstate seems to understand the tension, and has built the night around the moment.
He won’t be alone. Aaron Hibell joins the bill, along with Dash Berlin, whose long record in vocal and festival trance suits the lineup. Darude adds a name whose music reaches listeners far beyond dedicated dance circles. Benwal, Matty Ralph and Modeā round out a relatively short but focused international lineup. Performance times and the final running order are still to be announced.
The festival is also growing. The November edition is the third installment of the Canadian series and follows a sold-out March 2026 event. To fit a larger crowd, Dreamstate Vancouver is moving to TradeX in Abbotsford, British Columbia. It keeps its single-stage format, so the programming stays concentrated on trance even with more people in the room.
The date also closes out a busy November for the genre, coming a week after Dreamstate SoCal in Long Beach. With tickets on sale, fans in British Columbia and beyond have a clear reason to fill the room for Tiësto’s return to trance.
